Export production DXFs
Check applied geometry, review warnings and inspect the output in CAM.
Last reviewed 20 October 2026 · Development documentation
Check the applied job
Apply geometry changes, verify dimensions and confirm the selected material, sheet sizes, returns, joints and backing choices. Review the job overview and all warnings.
Choose the output
Use Export production DXFs for the production set. The app also offers individual outputs such as the face and backing DXFs where applicable. Check the destination and the files your job actually requires.
Inspect in CAM
Open the exported files in your normal CAM software. Verify scale, part orientation, profiles, drilling, groove and marking layers before assigning toolpaths.
Keep the frame consistent
Face machining is from the rear; backing machining is on the LED mounting side facing into the face tray. Preserve assembled TOP and logical fascia leg identities when reviewing the parts.
Retain the reviewed job
Save the .tmst job alongside your reviewed export set. Recheck CAM output after any design change; previously exported files do not update automatically.
Follow the Cohens example
The Cohens case study links its actual artwork with current manufacturing views and photographs of the finished fascia. A completed project does not replace your checks on the current applied job and exported CAM files.
